DAQ Software
MatDeck provides data acquisition functions, configuration forms and instrument panels for measuring, logging and controlling sensor hardware. DAQ software in MatDeck is used to set up devices, stream channels, condition signals and build the screens that operators actually watch.
MatDeck's DAQ software can be categorized as:
- Data Acquisition Systems
- Virtual Instrumentation and Instrument Widgets
- DAQ Coding and Python Scripting
- UART and COM Port Acquisition
- TCP Acquisition and GUI Applications
- DAQ Filtering and Signal Smoothing
DAQ work in MatDeck can start from a ready-made form. The form writes the device setup into the document, so a user who is not writing drivers still gets a running stream. The same document then accepts virtual instruments, SCADA screens, Python and MatDeck Script. Someone who wants full control calls the acquisition functions directly and leaves the forms out.
A live acquisition screen built on the same channels the hardware form opened.
Panels, logs and filters are ordinary parts of the document. They can be adjusted by changing a channel name or a sample rate, then packaged later as a standalone program for the test bench.
